A group of friends used to meet on every Friday to spend time together and exchange views. One interesting theme they had that everybody will share one experience which he liked or enjoyed most in last week. People used to share advertise, story, song, jingle, calligraphy, movie or anything of that sort. The amount of enjoyment and positive energy created in that one hour was enough to generate a climate for creativity.

Every individual is an artiest and has reflection within over their experiences.

Someone who develops ability to demonstrate that reflection through some media is an artiest. Creativity starts when one appreciates others’ thoughts or becomes sensitive towards others’ thoughts. People who are sensitive enough they undergo emotional changes and experiences. There are many ways to express the feeling. The need of expressing or sharing those experiences leads to some or other form of art. Artiest who enjoy the process of transferring experience to art enjoy most of it. Its interesting to understand that why some people are successful artiest and others are not. Sensitivity is probably the ability of individual to empathize with person or situation. Its not “being neutral”. It may be biased but it helps in understanding situation better.

Sensitivity generates the thought and creativity converts it into art.

A poet or a painter or a musician when delivers a piece of art, at rare occasions they are instantaneous. The creation of that art would have been started much earlier when they would have felt something of that sort in past. We normally hear from artiest that he or she was working on the theme for a long time. Gulzar & Jagjit Sing made a superb album “Marasim” a few year ago. Interview of Gulzar post release of that of album was very interesting. He admired Jagjit Sing for his understanding of Urdu and his sensitivity towards “Shayari”. As per Gulzar, Jagjit Sing could do justice to his poems due to those qualities.

A good art is never dependant on quality or quantity of resource it has used. We see many movies, read many books, see many photos but “Wah” comes at some occasions only. Art has managed to touch our senses and thus the result. A good observer, a good listener is also an artiest as art only gives birth to another art .. sensitivity being a media.
